What George Aguilera doesn't like about Subway:
Don't go to the one on Boca Chica, by the Airport, just the worst Subway I've ever been to. Ran out of BBQ Ribs, wrong salad dressing, no curbside service so had to go in, and there was only one poor little girl trying her best to serve several people. And I have notice this every time I go to a Subway rest. And made me wonder if this place treats employees fair or if this is the type of restaurant that makes employees work non stop, and if employees are lucky, they get to have a quick stop to the rr.????
Picked up order placed online. Poor sandwich assembly/front desk/order taker girl was alone and nearly in tears. We had tried to place our order by phone first of all but got no answer. We tried to order one of the new sandwiches featured on TV and we were able to place the order online. When we arrived they said they didn't have that sandwich at all. We asked why they didn't let us know and she said she didn't have time cuz she was all by herself. Many items were missing from both orders like cheese and peppers and tomatoes. And other unwanted items that we requested be held where on our orders. The order was not ready. It was just kind of a debacle. Number one there should be more staff if they're busy. Number two, a young woman should never be left alone on a Sunday afternoon by herself it's not safe. And she seemed like she was one step away from throwing down her apron and locking the door because it was just too much for one person. And my husband likes Subway and I typically don't and this has not improved either of our opinions at all.
Only one employee! Waited almost 15 minutes to order. Felt sorry for the young woman. Now a young man showed up who seemed to know his way around. Almost had to pay cash, then he rebooted the register. Bad time to be shorthanded. He was very apologetic. Good sandwiches, she could have been more generous.
This Subway is actually one of my favorite lunch spots. The staff is fast, fun, and friendly. The staff always have great meal suggestions. The environment is calm and clean as it should be when you want to relax from the busy work place chaos that is your job. Definitely recommend that you stop and enjoy a subway sandwich or wrap at this establishment. Tell them Frank sent you... they won't know who I am though :
Yesenia got my app order wrong and when I asked to give me my sandwich she didn't want to make me a new sandwich and just keep arguing. Then she has the audacity to ask for the drink back. She doesn't know the difference between jalapenos and banana peppers and put marinara sauce when I took it off the order in the app. She needs a lesson on customer service and the subway app. The order was wrong. You apologize and make a new one. You don't insist you are correct when you put in the wrong peppers.
