This meat on the two sandwiches and ribs we had were tasteless. We were all disappointed since it won so many awards. I am from KCMO and love BBQ. This is probably the worst I have ever had. Tasted like the brisket, beef and sausage was cooked a week ago. Sad. Potato salad was good. Not worth the price, and located in a mall. Offered no sauces except for one that had no flavor either. I live in Waco/ Marlin area in Texas. And I can honesty say I traveled over 7 hours and had a great customer service and great food. It was some of the best bbq I've eaten. I definitely recommend the big tex
I never thought I was gonna find true Texas brisket at the sunrise mall. Hands down the best brisket I've had in town. Beans are outstanding.

Best bbq in Brownsville for sure! First thing walking into the mall is the awesome smell of bbq. If you’re not already, run to RJs! Definitely must try.
