O'so Gud Bbq - Brownsville

Was hoping to try this place out, but they're closed when they're supposedly open. No sign, no updated hours....what a waste of time :

The owner is a character, but he is so friendly. He is like the funny uncle who always has tons of stories to tell at a family event that ever loves! Some of the best customer service I have gotten in awhile. The creamed corn is a MUST HAVE!

During our first visit, we had the grilled cheese brisket, brisket nachos, and the 2 meat plate. For the plate, I had the brisket sausage with beans and the potato salad. Everything was fresh hot. It tasted amazing! ? The brisket was very soft and tender, and the grilled cheese was super cheesy filled with plenty of brisket. The bread was toasted perfectly with a golden brown crisp. The brisket nachos were very cheesy and loaded with brisket. You need to order at the register. The service was fast and the staff were friendly. It's definitely a must try if you haven't been here. I highly recommend it.

What a gem. Love this little place. Art serves up some great bbq! I had the pulled pork sandwich with potato salad. Excellent! If you’re a bbq lover, or even if your not, definitely give it a try!

Very average bbq spot nothing will wow you here won’t be amazed. Other than the beans the sides need work very bland and the mac n cheese is very dry. Owner needs to fully commit to his business. However you should still give it a try some things are done right. Prices are not bad
