Kumori Sushi Teppanyaki Brownsville

This restaurant was incredibly rich in flavor, tasty, and healthy. The rolls were delightful, and the appetizers were equally impressive. You definitely have to try the Jalapeño roll and the spicy edamame. The staff was very accommodating; I requested iced green tea, and they let me mix hot tea with a glass of ice. Make sure to ask for Ozzy! I’ll definitely be back!

Today, I called and spoke to Jackie, who was in charge. She was completely rude and unprofessional. Her attitude was extremely disrespectful. She told me that we didn’t need to ask for a manager’s help in the future and that we should just speak directly to Amanda. When I expressed my frustration, she became defensive and hostile. Both Jackie and Amanda seemed to retaliate for their mistake, and because of this experience, I will no longer be dining there. I plan to inform my friends and family and am posting this review to alert others to be cautious. Jackie shouldn't be in a managerial position; she lacks customer service skills, empathy, and proper training, and she clearly doesn't care about Kumori's business. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to address this issue, as I intend to escalate it until it is resolved properly.

The food was delicious as always. You can never go wrong with Kumori. The staff and management were spot on, and it was refreshing to see such a well-organized restaurant, which is quite rare these days. They were all very attentive to our needs. Highly recommended!

The first time we are here and order sushi in brownsville! we were pleasantly surprised. we can't wait to come back and try to roll them more!

Food was great and the place is very well kept. Only down side was the servers. There's nothing wrong with hiring young people, if they good work ethic. However, in this case, you have a few servers in the background being boisterous. This is only my opinion, but for such a nice place, professional behavior is expected.
