Ernie's Hamburger Stand - Brownsville

This was our first time dining here, and we highly recommend it. The taste of the food was exceptional, and the service was excellent.

This restaurant serves the best burgers in Brownsville, hands down. If you're looking for a burger that's not just hot but truly fresh, this is the place to go. The meat is packed with great flavor, and the buns are warm and lightly toasted. The fries are thick and hearty, a far cry from the thin sticks you get at fast food joints. The staff here are incredibly friendly, too. My grandmother and I make the trip from the other side of town nearly every week just to satisfy our burger cravings. These burgers are unbeatable compared to options like Stars, Whataburger, Rutledge, and others. I sincerely hope they never change a thing!

The snow cones and hamburgers here are always a great choice. This restaurant has been around since my childhood, and now I'm approaching 50. I can confidently say it’s better than In-N-Out Burger, without a doubt!

I ordered the single meat Ernie's burger, and once I finished it, I realized I should have gone for the double meat option. It was a delicious hamburger with great flavor. Next time, I think I'll try the hot dog or chili dog!

The food here is quite good, but they close about 15 minutes early, which is a bit disappointing!
