For the first time, my children tried this place and they absolutely loved it, glad I brought them everything was on the point, only decline is that they do not have this little salsa island in the middle, as they did earlier, you can pick up their own things as needed. Went to the Boca Chica location before the football game 6pm ordered 3 PC combo, the chicken was dry, looked like chicken jerky,the beans were cold,an the Cole slaw no taste watery. Authentic Mexican cuisine. We went to Guadalajara years ago and had the best rotisserie chicken. We saw and saw (in Los Angeles) for a similar tasting food and El Pollo Loco comes the next

For a bit of context, I always go to the drive-thru for Pollo Loco, so I don't pay much attention the atmosphere of the establishment. With that in mind, the food is excellent and the service through ordering your food and receiving it is great. Although it takes a while to receive your food at times, you can rest assured that your food will be given hot and fresh, as I personally have never encountered an issue in that regard. I will definitely be coming again in the future. (Pricing is also great if you're looking for low cost meals).
