Best Real Corn Tortillas they use Whole White Corn that is grounded with old fashion Stone Grinder. They use this Masa for the Tamales as well. Unbelievable Tamales I have tried out a lot of Tamales in the Valley but these are the best by far. Oh you must try the Olive Oil Tamales not only they are delicious but no lard, Olive Oil and they are moist and juicy. The Barbacoa is also Heavenly clean and juicy. Every day they have Tamales, and Carnitas Marinated, juicy on the inside crispy on the outside. The Corn Chips are cooked in Canola Oil and go through 5 steps to remove access grease. Enjoy, it is an experience you will not forget any time soon.
The tamales de puerco are delicious and lots of puerco. My wife had a tamale veracruzano and she told me it was the best she has had. I highly recommend Anita's

I have been coming here for my Tortillas and BBQ and Tamales on the weekends for many years and it is still the best in town.
Best Tamales tortillas and Barbacoa to go in Brownsville. Definitely worth the trip downtown, The service is friendly and efficient especially when the ladies come out to help me while i 'm waiting on line. highly recommended.
