We were visiting family and this is one of their favorite places to eat. Coming from Arizona we found the food to be average for a Mexican restaurant. Service was great, food was good and we would return. The chips were the only thing I would change thicker than I prefer. View all feedback.
What I game doesn't like about El Sombrero Family Mexican:
Got 2 of my 3 meals wrong. Management refused to offer compensation. I will never eat here again. I think the fish tacos are just microwaved fish sticks. Not authentic. View all feedback.
Great service, they always meet the mark on food, Salsa is the Best!
We love this restaurant. So lucky to have such a great Mexican family restaurant so close to us here on the Peninsula.

Had a wonderful lunch with mom for my birthday, and El Sombrero hit the spot! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS, and the staff were so kind! We will definitely be back!
Good food and friendly service. Nice place to just hang.
