The cheeseburger was ok. It was nicely seasoned, but a bit dry. The bun was a tad sweet, which may or may not appeal to some. I liked it. The fries were ok. They were seasoned well and crispy. While I am on the hunt for the best burger, this place doesn't make it to the glow worthy status that I seek from a really good burger. View all feedback.
What Robert Nichols doesn't like about Bosco's Specialty Meats:
As a guy who is in search for the best burger, I had to try a Specialty meat joint. I ordered 2 cheesburgers. They were out faster than I anticipated, most burger connoisseurs know a good burger takes 15 to 20 minutes. No worries they were hand made and hot. The burger had flavor. My issue was the bun. The food is horrible what you expect. They open the one back between Port Barre and Opelousas. Omg!!! Don't go.
I used to eat here at least once a week. The quality and portions of the food has deteriorated, along with the quality of customer service. Save your time and money. Go elsewhere.

It completely reminded me of the buns at Panera, a bit sweet for my taste and did not work well with the burger. It was toasted which was well done. The burger itself was smaller than the bun, so the inevitable bun bites were there. I gave it a 3 because of the bun. For me, it ruined a decent burger. The fries were hot and well seasoned. The drink was extra.

Apparently the Broussard location don’t make their grilled chicken salads the same as they do in Opelousas, some lettuce, chicken and cheese for $16. Ridiculous
