Bj's Poorboy And Plate Lunches

Round steak rice and engraving with white beans and crushed cabbage. The round steak was tender and well seasoned, but the rice was a bit lumpy. The white beans and smeared cabbage sides were very good. It was really a lot of food for a lunch part, so you're really worth your money.

My husband and I absolutely love this place! My favorite dish, along with my husband's, is the Old Tyme Special paired with the potato wedges. The prices are excellent, and the building has a charming little cafe vibe!

The food was excellent, the service was quick and friendly, and I will definitely be returning soon!

Today, I had the chance to try the Hamburger Plate special, complete with a side of cabbage and peas. It was absolutely fantastic! To top it off, it came with a delicious fried chocolate brownie topped with pecans. If you find yourself in the area, definitely make time for a great meal here!

Got the turkey poorbuy without gravy and was great. Got the 1/2 acadian shrimp poorboy, shrimp had off taste and shrimp we're not deveined. Corn and seafood was just okay. Ordered 2 smalls drinks was charged for large. Place was busy so we got order to go and didn't want to fuss over 50cents. Service was nice and fast!! Wont return but could see with their fast and friendly service why they stay busy. If I needed to eat there again for any reason I would stick to their basic menu turkey ham etc poorboy.
