Friend and I had 2 rooms for a 2 night stay over Easter whilst visiting friends in Newport. Lovely well appointed en suite rooms, very comfy bed! Lots teas, coffees and biccies in rooms! I traveled with a friend to this restaurant and we ordered a pint and lunch. We decided on steak and mushroom pie, chips, and vegetables. The food arrived promptly and was a large individual pie, with chips and vegetables on the side. The owner even brought us extra gravy boats to ensure we had enough.
