Corona's Mexican Grill - Broomfield

When we come here we ALWAYS sit at the bar. The bartender is always more attentive and you can order food and have your drink in a much shorter time then in the dining room. This place struggles retaining staff and it is reflected in the reviews. I will no longer eat in the dining room but all of the times I got to the bar my service is quick and the food is good. They have a massive drink called the corona-rita that is sure to wet your whistle. I continue to return.... but I circumvent the dining room by eating at the bar. You should too.

My husband and I we went to have dinner at this restaurant and it took forever to get seated and it took forever for them to come back and take their orders seeing people coming in and they were taking their orders as soon as possible. It the worst restaurant ever waitress was not professional they never smile it was empty and believe me, I work in the same industry. have a good manners.

Went from a 5 to a 3 after tonight. We waited for about 10 mins to get someone to come to the front to even seat us. Then about 10 mins to get out order in. About 30 mins to get our food. Never got a refill on drinks. Not once. One of the orders came out wrong so had to be sent back. That was super quick. However we waited about 25 mins for our bill, got sick of waiting and tracked someone down. Still tipped. It's was kind or ridiculous honestly. We didn't even have complicated orders. Super easy orders but took forever because they were sooooo understaffed!

2.5 stars, rounded to 3 because of the positives at the end of the review.We have eaten here since they opened and used to really like it. It has been hit or miss the last few years, but tonight was not a good experience. First off, the website wasn’t working so we had to call to place our order. They said the food would be ready in 10-15 minutes, but we arrived 20 minutes later and had to wait at least 10 more minutes. I used to absolutely love Corona’s carnitas, but tonight they were dark brown ?? , dry and barely seasoned. Not even sure it was pork?? So disappointing, especially compared to what they used to serve. They only gave 2 very small containers of salsa with four meals and a small bag of chips which tasted of the old oil they had been fried in.On the positive side, the employee on the phone and those in the restaurant were friendly and the cheese enchiladas tasted good.

Ordered take out, got home with the wrong order. Went back, they tried to make me pay for a second meal... Not cool. It's okay to make mistakes, but it's not okay to argue with me when I didn't do anything wrong. Unfortunately, Corona's has lost my business for good. The headaches that come along with ordering food at this restaurant... really not worth it. My advice, eat somewhere that cares for your business.
