Breakfast meeting at this setting was lovely.. food and service was good. We did have presenters and at times some of the golfers could be a little noisy but didn't impact significantly. Would go back with family for dinner to see extended menu View all feedback.
What Guillermo Hessel doesn't like about BROOKWATER Golf & Clubhouse:
Played here with friends and was expecting something special but didn’t have the X factor. The front 9 has some holes that have a disproportionate amount of blind shots. It is a difficult and narrow course and quite pretty in places. I thought the tees...were not well maintained and they have the wrong grass and not level.and if you go in rough easy to do) it is scruffy and full of gum tree droppings. It’s hilly and... What an awesome golf course. Even with a lack of rain. Great clubhouse. Tuff course in awsome condition. With the travel time. Will be back soon
We stopped in at Brookwater Golf Club for lunch and decided on the restaurant menu instead of the bar menu. With 2 teenage children we were looking for something to cate for all of our tastes, but unfortunately the menu was sparse in choice for the location. What I mean is, if you want a fine dining experience where everything on the menu has names you have never heard of then maybe this is for you, but if you want something plain, you are better off trying the bar menu. Aft finding nothing that the family would eat, we left and ate elsewhere. This is and is promoted as a golf club, it is the only golf club worldwide that I have been to that doesn't cater for golfers in their restaurant menu. That being said, we returned the next day for breakfast as the breakfast menu looked good. Firstly there were no tables prepared. There were 3 tables of diners and the rest of the tables were unprepared. We were asked to sit on the lounge whilst a table was made up and 10 minutes lat we were seated. We noted there had been a wedding the night before and under the tables next to us was confetti and assorted food crumbs, obviously the cleaner had the day off that Sunday. We ordered drinks, 1 coffee, 1 tea and 2 hot chocolate. Shortly thereafter we ordered breakfast and settled in to wait. 25 minutes later our drinks arrived and then right on cue, so did our meals. There was a mad scramble to organise drinks and food on the small table and on tasting the coffee it was Luke warm at best.We noted the table next to us also got their drinks when their food arrived which really is poor service. We noted that the one girl who was making our drinks was also busily engaged in conversation with people at the bar and the other staff made no attempt to sped up the process by helping. On paying for the meal I made mention of the poor service i.e. drink timings to which the reply was "sometimes it pays to wait for good service". I would accept that if the drinks were in fact good, but as mentioned, my coffee was luke warm at best.To say we were disappointed is an understatement. With the amount of competing demands for hospitality in the area, especially with the new sort being constructed next door, if Brookwater doesn't pick up its act, they will be in a lot of trouble.TIP. Stick to the bar menu, you might fare better than the restaurant.
After a nice round of golf at this love course, nothing like hanging out to enjoy the fine dining and great setting at the club. The food is yummy and goes so well with a nice cool beer.. I like the nice setting all around and great staff always at hand to assist. Just lovely,...
Really surprised , by the quality of our lunch at the club, great ambience and the staff were very attentive, we'll go back..
Nice, but small lunch menu available for a after a round of golf. Burgers were delicious and a very reasonable size. Soft drinks only available off tap.
