Frosty Freeze - Brookville

Very personable service. hand cut fries. Local beef. Delicious hamburgers. And delicious ice cream for dessert. Highly recommend.

I go out of my way to go here. They use the higher quality bright white type of vanilla soft serve. Their menu is fantastic. Love these guys!!!

My girlfriends and I stopped here for a quick lunch before heading home to Pittsburgh. It was about 5 minutes from where we stayed and we knew it would be a quick option! When you pull up, this building is hard to miss as it has a retro feel. There are picnic tables to sit at, some covered and some out in the sun. You place your order at one window and they call your number and you retrieve your order at another window. I opted for small chicken tenders while my girlfriends got the cheesesteak and the grilled chicken sandwich. We split a large fry. The tenders were absolutely delicious! All three pieces were very juicy and full of chicken with a very light coating of breading and lightly salted. I was disappointed that they did not have BBQ sauce to dip them in but ketchup worked just fine. The fries were pretty tasty too thick cut and lightly deep fried. We were given salt packets to add our own amount. This place has a large selection of Perry's Ice Cream and about 5 10 soft serve ice cream flavor options. I thought I would try something different and get soft served, going with a child's sized Raspberry Lemonade. It came out with a blue tint which I did not expect but it was pretty tasty and not overly artificial tasting. The child's size was more than enough especially after eating lunch. The employees were very nice and helpful with making decisions regarding ice cream flavors. The food was cheap and very fresh tasting. Overall, a solid, quick choice for us to hold us over until we got home!

I pretty much only come for the soft-serve twist ice cream cones, but this place has a little of everything! There are plenty of ice cream flavors and combinations to match any preference. The restaurant also has several open air tables and coin operated children's rides for patrons young and old to enjoy the beautiful summer evenings. If dessert isn't your thing, there is also a grill for savory items. Servings are large and prices are very reasonable. Been coming for years and hope for many more to come!

We love the Frosty Freeze ????. For those of you who keep complaining. Yes, lately you do have to wait and wait and wait! However, the employees just keep going and going it’s not like they are goofing around. They are busy! There is going to be a wait. Also take into consideration the brookville has lost 2 other ice cream shops relatively close to the Frosty Freeze increasing their business making it busy. So look before you stop if there are a lot of people there your just going to have to wait!
