Wasabi Sushi - Brooksville

The place was clean, very nice ambiance, the staff professional, the food was excellent, beautifully presented and the prices were reasonable too.

The sushi overall good. The price is decent however I notified they now charge for sauce such as eel sauce and spicy Mayo which they didn't do before. Also in this order I asked for light sauce and sauce on the side so it would have been what they put on the roll. That was a bit of a bummer that I will remember for next time. Order: Spicy scallop Spicy salmon Salmon avocado: charged a $1 for avocado, not worth $1 and this is a standard roll YoYo roll Fantastic Roll Wasabi roll Snow White roll Of the speciality rolls the wasabi roll was my least favorite. I believe it is the mango sauce that was too sweet for me but folks in my group enjoyed it. The yo-yo roll has a kick and definitely not for someone who doesn't like spice. The fresh jalapeño in it gives it a nice flavor.

It's been awhile since I've updated this location. It has gone down just a tiny bit, because I do like another place just a little bit better. This time I was with my kids who are huge sushi fans and they liked it, except we all had 1 roll each we didn't care for, sadly. My favorite was Volcano Roll, my daughters was the Spider roll, (my second favorite), and my sons was kani roll. I liked the volcano because it had great flavors. There is a spice to it, but it doesn't hit until that last part of chewing and it bites ya just a little. The spider roll is deep fried soft shell crab and it's so delicious. The right amount of crunch with some sticky rice. It's good. My sons was just ok. It was small rolls, and was all gooey. I love this place but it's an easy second place in the area.

I go to Florida to visit often and I was dying to dine here. Unfortunately my experience wasn 't great. I came in and ordered an any two lunch special unfortunately the waiter said that I could not order my food , for the lunch special because she took so long to come to my table that by the time she arrived it was no longer , between the hours of the lunch special. Although we were obviously seated and ready to be dine. The waiter insinuated if we didn 't have money for the regular menu that we could leave. She was very rude and dismissive. We will not be returning. It 's unfortunate because this is the only sushi place next to my grandmother 's house.

Once again, the sushi was excellent! The Fantastic Roll and the Snow White Roll were both outstanding, along with a variety of delicious Maki.
