What Matt I doesn't like about Papa Joes Catering SVC:
The place is really decorated nicely, great ambience. Service was good, food was alright. Not bad not good either. What you’d expect from a chain restaurant, which is fine if it’s chain prices, which it is not. I have heard great things so maybe it was just an off day. I’ll try again. Good food, quiet little place, would recommend to any pasta lover.
We live 45 minutes away and this was our 3rd visit. Best meatballs! Even though it was busy Christmas season, our rez for 6 at 6:30 was waiting for us.
Our extended family and friends really enjoy Papa Joes usually monthly. Food quality is excellent. Portions seemed a little smaller this time. Most notable, the service was not so good. I got my dinner, close but not what I ordered. Rest of the service was friendloy but slow.
Always welcomed by Papa Joe and his staff. We celebrated our five-year-old's birthday and Papa Joe's is her favorite Italian restaurant. Never been disappointed with a choice off the menu!
The blackened salmon was good, but the marinara sauce was pretty bad. The wine that I ordered was one that I've had before, and it tasted nothing like the one I had at home. Either the bottle had been open way too long (didn't exactly taste like that though) or they just used a cheap house wine instead. The espresso tasted like instant coffee.
