What Mekhi Abbott doesn't like about Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen:
I have tried to give this place chance after chance. Back in June 2022 I ordered food to go got home in my chicken wrap on the lettuce there was a bug. Waited to go back because I truly do like their food. Well here we are in September 2022 got my order this time I ordered chicken Alfredo comes with broccoli well in my food on a piece of broccoli there is a lady bug! I’m over giving them chances. And all vegetables s... View all feedback.
When we arrived, we were greeted with the most delicious, mouth-watering croissants that truly delighted our taste buds. They were incredibly fluffy, and the honey butter served with them was absolutely phenomenal—definitely the highlight of our visit! We started with a cheese platter, and while the ranch dressing wasn't to my taste, the cheeses were delightful on their own. The entrées were quite unique and served in generous portions that felt like a warm welcome home. Our food arrived quickly, and the prices were reasonable.
I have to say that I was disappointed to find that the menu online stated the pool was available for dining, but when we arrived at the restaurant, we were informed it was only for takeout. Unfortunately, we had to make do with other options. However, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent!
I visited this restaurant for the first time, and overall, it was a positive experience. Although there was a 30-minute wait, we were seated in just 15 minutes, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was attentive and friendly. The chicken sliders were visually impressive, and the bourbon salmon was delicious. The side dishes were decent, but not remarkable. However, the Texas margarita was fantastic. All in all, we had a great time, and we definitely plan to return!
We made a later dinner on Friday night. there was a small waiting period of 15 minutes. eating was really good and the service was great. we didn't have to wait long to get our drinks and of course the delicious croissants.
We last visited Cheddars the first week it opened. The experience was not very pleasant the food was cold the service spotty and the bar very loud. We chalked this up to new place, growing pains. Well…… it was worst this time. The only thing positive about this visit was the waitress, not the greeter who was rude and offensive in the extreme. We ordered and when our meal came it was not looking appetizing at all. My chicken fried steak was horrible the “gravy” that formed a cold pile that looked like concrete tasted about the same. The deep fryer must have been cold as the coating was greasy, soggy, and devoid of any discernible taste, it wouldn’t even stick to the meat. In all fairness my wife fared a little better getting a Monte Cristo that was very sweet but she enjoyed it. For this restaurant to brag about being “ scratch” made is a farce. As a final fail, the table was greasy and needed a good scrubbing. We will not be going back, and will not recommend this place to any of our friends, our enemies well………..
