This is the best sushi place I've tried outside of Calgary (and maybe even inside too). I have been to other sushi restaurants in Calgary and Edmonton with similar menus and food quality, but the prices here were much more reasonable.

The owner th... read more Driving through Alberta and we decided to stop and get sushi. We brought my brother his own food because he is Autistic and doesn’t eat many foods. The owner then told us that next time we can’t bring our own food in, even after we told them that my brother has many food aversions. I understand that there are rules to be followed, but people with special needs shouldn’t have to explain themselves to others, especially in circumstances that are harmless. We also took the garbage ourselves afterwards to throw it out somewhere else, if that was the issue. The waitress was kind at least.

My food was ready in 8 minutes. I got a variety of sashimi. All ingredients were fresh and flavorful and the pieces of fish were a good size. Way to go, Nikko Sushi! I will be back!
