My dinner experience at Walter Foods was overall, really enjoyable. The restaurant is rather small, which might make it hard to get a table right away, but luckily we made a rez. It's a charming little place with a spacious bar and maybe 10 -15 tables. We sat down and were waited on right away. I love this spot. Great music, the food sounds standard but the actual preparations are very interesting. And the bar is great, the drinks menu is organized by base drink (vodka, gin, etc) which is the way I think about what to drink. Totally recommended. Just as a note to future guests, they charge for the sparkling water. Just bear that in mind if you're watering down your long-day thirst with it thinking it was free. Walter Foods is a must-visit for me every time I'm in Williamsburg.

They squeezed us by door. really annoyed. i know it was busy but i would have waited for a booth so i didnt have hear a millenial spoiled brat talk about her trip. would go here again if i had a real table
Ate here with some friends on Monday the 8th of February. We had a great time. The service was perfect, as was the food. Deviled Eggs, Pig N, a Blanket, Mini Crab Cakes, perfect starters with drinks. Layered Eggplant Parm, Roast 1/2 chicken (huge, we took half of it home) and the bar steak were all perfectly cooked and delicious. I've been to the bar before, for oysters, I'll definitely be back.
