Was Anonym at Vspot a mag?

I had dinner with my partner for Valentine's Day, and the atmosphere was fantastic. It's truly the best vegan restaurant in Brooklyn. The food was amazing, and the service was incredible—especially our server, Torin, who was exceptional. We enjoyed baked avocado, buffalo strips with blue cheese sauce, and a Weizen pasta lasagna with garlic bread. We also had spinach and portobello mushroom quesadillas, and for desser... What The Tree House dislikes about Vspot:

The food was quite good. I came here for a solo early birthday celebration, but it wasn't exactly what I had anticipated. The waiter was extremely pleasant and attentive, but I found it a bit challenging to decide what to order since they didn't have the Korean BBQ cauliflower wings that I was initially looking for. I have to say, that absence did give the place its own unique character. Overall, I thought the food w... View all feedback.

Very consistent, quality, vegan food. My family and I have dined here for years and have never been disappointed. Nelson and Steve have always been very attentive and accommodating . We really appreciate the option to order via QR code, which is super convenient VSpot is one restaurant we can always count on in our area. Highly recommended.

The VSPOT is a casual, clean, Latin restaurant with a bar and comedy shows. The service was pleasant and efficient with Steve and Anthony. I recommend the complete online menu with photos, and a fantastic amount of combos. The food doesn't necessarily appear as the pictorials. The portions are substantial, and it's clear the locals visit to chow down at a reasonable cost. The seasoned chk'n, cauliflower, white cheese and chicharrones are tasty andthe lasagna seitan meat, grilled chick'n, and arepas are amazing. The orange sauce, which was my fav, pairs especially well with the Chica-PAPAS. Surprised they don't have everyone's favorite Piña Colada on the drink menu 4 stars

The BLT wraps were very bland and mushy. Otherwise everything else was okay.

We organized presentations for a small conference recently and had VSPOT during two of the days. Not only was the food delicious but it felt nutritious and healthy. We had long days all weekend long with workshops and actions, the food provided gave us great fuel. The empanadas and pasta were a favorite of our 60-65 ish people. Danny was also very nice. We highly recommend!

This is my second visit to Park Slope, Brooklyn, and I was excited to try the first Vegan Latin American restaurant in the area. My drink was great, and the Carne Molida Burrito exceeded my expectations, arriving in just five minutes. The service was quick, and the server was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place to both vegans and non-vegans!

Excellent vegan cuisine! I particularly love the crispy chicken burrito. The side of rice and beans is also fantastic. If you're looking to add more greens to your meal, the garlicky kale burrito is a great option. I do miss the chicken parmesan sandwich, which was my favorite, but unfortunately, it's no longer available. The gluten-free nachos are among the best, though you need to eat them immediately, as they can get soggy quite quickly. The regular nachos, however, are definitely not worth it. The service is always quick too. It's been a couple of years since I had the empanadas, but I remember enjoying them.

I visited this place about a week ago, I hope things have changed since then. The food and atmosphere were fine for a brunch spot in Brooklyn. Tasty, but not mind-blowing. Guacamole was pretty great though. The portions were also perfect for my boyfriend and I. It was the bartender on shift that day that really turned me and my boyfriend off though. He greeted us and sat us just fine, but as we ate it became apparent that he was on some sort of drug, my guess was either heroin or meth. He was moaning and talking to himself off to the side and moving constantly and being very disruptive as we were the only people in the restaurant. We ordered two cocktails which we never received for obvious reasons. After about 35 minutes, I got a hold of a cook who did not speak English, but tried to help as much as he could, shout out to him. He told us someone was coming in to help shortly. I didn't get his name when he came in, but I'm guessing he was the manager. He silently sent the bartender to the back and proceeded to ask if we wanted the drinks or a refund for the drinks. Honestly both would have been nice, but I didn't ask. He was nice enough to apologize and get us a refund thankfully. We took our leftovers and got drinks elsewhere.

Was walking by and got two empanadas to go. Loved the Colombia potato one, but the jerk “chicken” was toooo spicy! The skin on the empanadas so were crispy, and potatoes were seasoned perfectly. It’s a small to medium sized empanada so you’ll prob want to get two for a snack

THIS PLACE IS SPECTACULAR!! I want to start off by saying I am a die hard meat lover and couldn't tell that I was eating vegan food at all, that's how amazing this food was. The empanadas are beyond delicious! I was surprisingly shocked by how tasty they were. They're big, crunchy and the salsa is so good, fresh and tasted great. The lasagna was really great too and the garlic bread was on point! Who real thinks about highlighting the garlic bread unless it was almost the star of the show. If I would have been blind folded I really wouldn't have known that the place was vegan at all, I mean everything had such great flavor. The staff was really nice too. Lots of knowledge about the dishes and how they're made. One of the owners spoke to us about the 1st Thursday night comedy show they have, which we have to come to as well. He was super cool. I'll totally be coming back with more and more people! Next time it'll be for brunch.

The food and ambience was okay… it was too simple and lots of grease and oily which makes it hard to enjoy food… nice affordable menu with lots of variety and staff is good… the service was fast too

Food is good, we had the aprtiser plate with a mix of everything, and a nacos entre. It was well enough for two persons. Service is quick, and a bit layed back. Atmosphere wise it feels like a fast food place.

This is my 2nd time back to Park Slope Brooklyn and I definitely wanted to try the first Vegan Latin American Restaurant around this area. Besides my drink, my Carne Molida Burrito did not disappoint and the order came out in 5 minutes. Quick service and the Server was very Nice and Attentive. I highly recommend this place to vegans and non-vegans.

Very good vegan food! I especially like the crispy chicken burrito. I also love the side of rice and beans. The garlicky kale burrito is also good if you need more greens in your meal. I do miss the chicken parm sandwich. That was my favorite thing but alas it’s no more. The gluten free nachos are one of the best. You do have to eat it right away as it tends to get soggy fast but the non gluten version is a definite miss! Food is always quick too. I have not had the empanadas in a couple years but I remember enjoying them.

I'm a big lemonade lover so the homemade lemonade was awesome and the margarita as well! For food I had the Nacho supreme starter (I regret not getting the carne molida as well) which was incredible! Some of the softest yet still firm and best nachos I've ever had. The chick'n parm was so delicious and all the food was extremely filling! Worth checking out if you are in the area!Vegetarian options: It is a fully plant based menu with plenty of meat alternatives and great Mexican vegan dishes and also classics like a chik'n parm that are totally amazing.

This place was a yummy and chill spot to grab a vegan bite. We went for taco Tuesday. The arepa was really good and the egg taco is great. The kale taco is not too filling but the rice and the beans have great portions and are yummy. The sauce is good. The water is really nice and cold. We ate outside and it was warm. However.... The empanada was really small : . Also, the payment thing is kind of annoying and we wanted to get to know the server better. The picture of the food was the food we ate because we pretty much devoured the food. Fun time and good food. Although we couldn't understand what the name was because it also is called the vegan baptism on Google which is confusing. But the names are cool.

I 'm writing this review based on an event I recently attended catered by VSPOT. The catering was well done, the food was good, not outstanding. The seitan tacos were decent, but falling apart (still yummy with a fork though), the summer spring rolls were boring mostly lettuce but the real standout and reason for 4 stars instead of 3 were the cheeseburger empanadas (vegan of course). The empanadas were so fricking good and I went back for seconds and thirds. Honestly just perfectly hit the spot for me.

Decent food. Looks better than it tastes. Half the food on my plate lacked salt. I probably wouldn't go back for anything but the triple chocolate fuged brownies. Thats the only reason they get a five-star rather than four. It's served warm. Hot sause it realllllllly hot. If you try it, you better really be about that life.Vegetarian options: 100% VeganKid-friendliness: Booth seating not kid friendlyDietary restrictions: Vegan restaurant with clearly labled gluten-free options

I was very excited to find this spot. Street parking. So many delicious looking/sounding items in the menu. Had the three empanadas … each one different and each one delicious. The Korean Fried Cauliflower is not something I would expect at a Latin inspired spot but it proved to be something they do well. Star of the night was what made me say “that’s the place”. The Colombian Bandeja Paisa. Wow! It was so very good. The rice and beans, the avocado, the ground “meat” and the chicharrón … OMG! Loved it all and I am so looking forward to coming back. Not sure if I will try anything else because what I ordered was so worth repeating. The one item that didn’t add anything (for me) was the vegan egg in the bandeja paisa. Would love to see them add a vegan chorizo.

I’m sorry to say that I’m quite baffled by the hype surrounding this place, as my experience was disappointing. The food featured uninspired and below-average combinations that just didn’t make sense. The presentation left much to be desired, and the overall atmosphere felt very outdated and tired. I was also concerned about the air conditioning system, which was right next to one of the tables. It was so bothersome that it literally dripped on diners while they were eating, and it seemed to be causing damage to the floor. This made me wonder what other cost-cutting measures might be in place. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for a night out with friends or a partner. It needs a serious update, especially considering the current vegan scene in New York, which boasts some fantastic South American-inspired options. To top it off, the prices were quite steep for what was offered. This review was last updated on July 5, 2022.
