I have ordered from this restaurant multiple times, but today I was highly disappointed. Not only was I dissatisfied with my order, but also with the owner's response to my concerns. I ordered a half pan of macaroni and cheese and a half pan of potato salad. However, I received a full half pan of potato salad for $45 and less than half a pan of macaroni and cheese for $50, which looked dried up. I took a picture, called the restaurant, and asked to speak to the owner, who I had previously spoken highly of as a young black entrepreneur with what seemed like a successful business. He confirmed that he was the owner and I explained my issue with the order. I told him that I received less than half of a half pan of macaroni and cheese. He asked if I had ordered the large pan or the half pan, to which I confirmed I ordered the half pan. He then told me that was correct. I questioned if it was normal to fill the half pan with just half of the macaroni and cheese (as it was clearly less than half the pan), and he again confirmed that it was the correct amount. Meanwhile, the half pan of potato salad I received was a full half pan. I expressed that the quality of the macaroni and cheese was not worth $50 and that I would not be ordering it again. His response was simply, "That's fine." This lack of concern for customer satisfaction was disappointing, especially since I had used this restaurant for my granddaughter's sweet 16 and ordered food frequently from them. It's a shame.

Let's discuss the fried lobster tail special! Oh my goodness! I saw a post on Instagram about these delicious looking fried lobster tails and I just had to try them. I headed over to the restaurant and saw a line of about 5 people outside, mostly due to the social distancing guidelines in place. There were also 4 cars double-parked, waiting for their orders, which was a good sign that this neighborhood spot was popular. I ordered 4 fried lobster tails and didn't have to wait too long for my order, although not all of them were just for me. After trying them, I could have easily eaten 2 myself - they were so good! We also ordered mac and cheese, which paired perfectly with the fried lobster tails. The mac and cheese was creamy, soft, and delicious. We were quite full afterwards, but the lobster mac and cheese was everything we had hoped for. We ended up passing out on the couch afterwards, in pure food-loving bliss!

I wanted to enjoy this food so much. I get excited about soul food, however, I was not pleased at all. I ordered the henny wings and the chicken looked as if it didn't sell, they refrigerated it and then reheated it in the microwave. The skin was very soggy and honestly, I was grossed out. The sauce on the chicken had good flavor but the chicken itself was flavorles. The yams were good...and so was the peas and rice. The baked mac was okay. They overcooked the noodles sothey were too soft for my liking.

Oh my goodness!!! Let me tell you, Top Tier is the absolute best. It's true!! The customer service is amazing. The owner, Shawn, is fantastic. I ordered catered baked ziti and garlic bread, and when I picked it up, it was hot and ready to go. They are truly the best. The food is always delicious and fresh. Whoever is cooking there really knows what they're doing. The food is seasoned perfectly. I just adore this place. Thank you Top Tier. Thank you Shawn.

My God! You guys didn?t come to play, huh? I cook and I?m very particular about my seasonings and etc. These greens are fresh, still layered in such a way that I know they were soaked, layered, rolled and cut; just like mine. These oxtails will knock the Caribbean restaurant out of business. The wings are seasoned to perfection and fried nice and crisp. This mac and cheese taste like my mommy?s and the potato salad has the right amount of everything!
