Reviews summary
Nestled near Barclays, this vibrant bar impresses with its warm, inclusive atmosphere and attentive staff, notably bartender Recheille, who elevates every visit. The menu’s unique “baked, not fried” concept offers surprisingly flavorful options like chicken tenders paired with gourmet honey mustard, along with standout Jameson BBQ wings and wedge fries. Drinks are expertly crafted—balanced, strong, and diverse—with a memorable cucumber martini on offer. While some may miss traditional fried fare, the fair prices and supportive, community-driven vibe, especially towards LGBTQ and TGNC guests, make it a notable spot for both locals and visitors seeking great service and a welcoming environment.

Perry is an absolute joy. He made my first time to That Bar for my friend from Paris and Kentucky so enjoyable. He carries this bar heavily. I look forward to seeing him behind the bar again Price per person: $10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great place, nice bartenders. Love the music and the vibe. Ordered the burger but it didn’t taste good felt like it needed more flavor. Also the menu is not updated I guess because we saw on the menu that the burger was 14 w cash and they charged us 18. The waffle fries are amazing. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Perry and Rechielle are the best! Great food and atmosphere. I’ll be coming back.
We absolutely love thatbar Bk! It's a unique venue where we attended an event, and the service and staff were truly outstanding. They are incredibly supportive of the LGBTQ and TGNC community, which made our experience even better.
This unassuming little place has an amazing burger that took me by surprise! Plus, the brownie was delightfully gooey.

This "baked, not fried" concept just doesn't cut it. When I visit a bar, I expect my food to be deliciously fried. While the drinks and service were great, I won't be in a hurry to return.
Fantastic atmosphere! I visited this place after a concert at Barclays, and the service was excellent. The drinks were also top-notch. I’ll definitely come back next time I'm in town!
Came here for a concert out of town and asked what the house was tequila was the bartender asks me if I would like to try it and pours me a tiny baby sip in a shot glass. Once my tab came he charged me $9 for it. Come here if you like getting swindled
Came here for a networking event and was pleasantly surprised to have such a GREAT bartender who accommodated a cucumber martini for me and wow I cannot believe they have such a nice UNFRIED menu. I had the best chicken tenders that were baked with some great gourmet honey mustard.
