What AnnieR doesn't like about Skovorodka Restaurant.:
Our waiter was so annoyed when we inquired about dishes that we were not familiar with. The Ukrainian Borscht did not seem fresh. The meat dumplings were bland. The potato dumplings were a bit better. View all feedback. What Toni likes about Skovorodka Restaurant.:
What a treat to find a truly authentic Russian/Ukrainian restaurant serving all our favorite dishes! Loved the borsch and extremely generous portions of delicious pierogi. And their kompot was all natural, organic, fresh and DELICIOUS!! Thank you. View all feedback.

read moreSkovorodka, located in Brighton Beach, offers an authentic Russian dining experience away from the typical tourist traps. The restaurant is popular among families and serves delicious traditional dishes like Golubtzy and pelmeni, accompanied by a nice selection of Russian beer and vodka. The atmosphere is lively with Russian music videos playing on TV monitors. While the service is quick and friendly, customers should be wary of extra service charges on the bill. On the downside, Skovorodka received criticism for not honoring a reservation made through OpenTable. Additionally, some diners found the food to be below average in quality and tasteless. However, others praised the quality of ingredients, generous portions, and variety offered on the menu. Overall, Skovorodka is recommended for those looking for a reasonably priced Russian restaurant in the area, offering a mix of traditional dishes and a lively atmosphere for a pleasant dining experience.
