Shady's Tap Room - Brooklyn

They have 3 dark beers, all good beers to. We had trouble deciding. Summer it's hard to find dark beers everyone wants to carry light, so glad we can still get what we enjoy here.

We have stopped in twice at the start of summer and this place has really gone downhill. Menu is basic with cheap sides of chips or macaroni salad, and appetizers with stale chips not what they used to be. Very unclean. One of our party was served water with lipstick on the cup and didn’t even get an apology when it was brought to staffs attention. The cherry on top for bad customer service was when we were kicked out of 2 different tables because they said trivia regulars were coming in (2 hrs prior to trivia). We just wanted a quick bite and would have been gone long before. Truly don’t care that other customers are regulars too. We simply cannot recommend any more.

I really enjoy this establishment as they rarely disappoint. There's outside seating in the front as well as in the back when they have music venues. Weekly drink specials along with Monday night trivia and much more. Sadly, they do charge a little more for drinks during their special events. There's plenty of parking out front but on the busy days,there's parking behind the building. They're buffalo chicken appetizer as well as their calzones are very good.

Service and food here is great. Definitely a place to try out if you're staying in Brooklyn.

A homey little bar with amazing food. I always find myself craving their French Dip. If you want to have a nice refreshing long island, this is the place for you.
