Patrizia's Pizza Pasta - Brooklyn

I had the most enjoyable experience I've had in a while! The atmosphere was great, the drinks were excellent, and the food was absolutely divine. I will definitely be coming back!

This restaurant used to be my favorite spot when I lived nearby, and I frequented it often. They serve the best pre-meal bread I’ve ever tasted—it's wonderfully doughy, and while I suspect they also use it for their pizza, I haven’t confirmed that. The octopus is the best I’ve had in the city, and their tagliatelle with meat sauce is also exceptional. The service remains attentive and friendly, and the recent renovations have made the restaurant super cute. The portion sizes are enormous—much larger than I remember, which is rare these days as most places tend to serve smaller portions.

This Italian restaurant is one of several in the Kips Bay area and is a popular choice for those working in the nearby hospitals. They offer an excellent lunch special featuring a variety of pastas for $18, which includes a side house salad. Personally, I really enjoy the fettuccine Alfredo—it's very creamy and a classic favorite. There's another restaurant called Fumo nearby that also has a similarly priced lunch pasta special. The restaurant itself is quite spacious with high ceilings and plenty of outdoor seating. While the decor is somewhat cliché and a bit cheesy, it still creates a nice atmosphere. I have no complaints regarding the service either.

Patrizia's Italian Restaurant on East 26 St. 2nd Ave. is a great family style restaurant. The atmosphere is lively welcoming, the staff is friendly accommodating the food is delicious, fresh satisfying. It's a great place to bring the family, large or small groups, couples or to dine by yourself. Patrizia's is an excellent place for birthdays, work related events or just to eat enjoy. If ever you're in the city you must come here! They have other locations as well.

The word HUGE takes a different meaning when it comes to the serving sizes of the food here. Sandwiches are twice as big as in most other places. The spaghetti with meatballs literally create a mountain on the serving plate. Pizzas are quite big,too. I need to go back to check their salads. I wasn't feeling carnivore and had a Giardiniera pizza: crunchy dough but a little too burned for my taste. I did love the dipping sauce they serve with warm focaccia.... So deliciously garlicky. Solid place with plenty of seats.
