The environment was nice and the menu had a nice selection of options. tried her warmed wee and found that it had anis, zimt and an orange disc — tasted so good! I had ordered one of the soups and it was full of taste and remembered the food I had grown up. can not wait to visit again!
One of the most huge restaurants in Brooklyn/NYC. that is hospitable. the tasty eating and decor transports them far beyond our borders to a rich and joyful culinary experience, where they are also transported only for a meal to the lush, delicious, best, in a country far away. sprint, don't run! the truffle mais is bae. the suppers are naughty. the honey cowardly reduction omelett is a big lamb.
Really good but also unique dishes. The soups are amazing and the blue tortillas. Live music was fun.
Outstanding food and excellent service. Everything we ordered was awesome hot figs, shrimp sliders, Cubano, Beleza, TPC, and rosemary churros.

You will not be disappointed! Service is excellent and the food is simply amazing, very flavorful. I also had the hot chocolate and it was the best ever. Worth every penny.
The flavors of this restaurant are so new and fresh to me. It makes me want to go to Guatemala immediately. The soups are out of control delicious. If you’re dining with another person and you can each order a different soup and ask them to divide it and you can try two. I’ve tried all the soups now and always go with the same person. The tres leche is probably the best I’ve ever had. So so good.
While strolling through the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and feeling hungry, I turned to Google to find a nice restaurant to sit down and eat. I came across this gem and I must say, it was a delightful surprise! The reviews were accurate - the Pepian was excellent, but the Jocon was truly outstanding and stole the spotlight. The hot chocolate had the perfect balance of sweetness. The lavender hot chocolate was a unique twist on the classic recipe. To top it off, we enjoyed a round of rosemary churros, the perfect ending to a fantastic meal.

Ix is the best Guatemalan food I?ve ever tasted outside of Guate (and my family?s cooking). The paches are flavorful with a wonderful texture and served with slices of white bread (that?s how we eat them at my house). Definitely order the chuchitos ifyou?re looking for a denser tamalito to eat with crema (their spin on it with horseradish is beyond tasty). Even theirsandwiches served with toasted pumpkin seeds are delicious. You won?t regret it. The vibes here are immaculate with lovelydecor, really fun live music, and excellent service. Make sure to end your meal with a cafecito (I had a cappuccino that wasdelicious even unsweetened) and a rellenito. I love it here and can?t wait to go back the next time I visit New York!
Amazing Guatemalan food! Loved it here! Great ambience atmosphere. Beautiful interior decor with so much color and life. Place is tight though. Inside and outside dining available. Loved the cardamom cocoa, but wasn't a fan of the iced chai. Gotone of the most recommended soups. The soup/stew was devine! The green eggs sandwich was delicious! The service was a littleslow but definitely will return Highly recommend.
Best Guatemalan cafe that has real cocoa in house I ordered my son a cacao frappe and it was so good i wanted more. It taste fresh not artificial plus they have all kinds of cocoa drinks!!
Got hungry walking through the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, went to Google to get to a good sit down eatery, found this. What a treat! The reviews are spot on the Pepian was superb, but the Jocon was amazing and stole the show. The hot chocolate was justthe right balance is sweetness. The lavender hot chocolate was a nice twist to the old recipe. We finished with a round ofrosemary churros perfect ending!
