Celebrating my sister’s birthday on a Friday night at Hibino was perfect. Despite their limited seating, they were incredibly accommodating when I mentioned I had two toddlers with me. Wonderful restaurant. After living in Japan, I come here when I get longing for authentic Japanese cuisine. Nostalgic but contemporary comfort food. Never disappoints.

Got sushi takeout here and it was delicious. Two rolls and tuna tataki. The interior looks nice we will probably return for dine in.
Such a special spot. A break from the sushi places in NYC that are all the same. Homestyle japanese comfort foods too. Best agedashi tofu. Casual date spot after a walk on the BK promenade.
The miso salmon was perfect, and the server was super friendly! I also recommend their soybean pudding! Really enjoy my time there, excellent vibe, food, and services. Have been to the LIC branch before, and the service was not nice, I feel the LIC one was short of staff, only 2 staffs there and the attitude was Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
