The food at this restaurant was just okay, but I was extremely disappointed to discover that I had been overcharged. They justified the charges by saying that two lemonades cost $24 in total, which seemed incredibly unreasonable to me, especially since there was no alcohol in the drinks. I typically prefer not to leave negative reviews, but I feel it is important to warn others to be cautious when dining here. The restaurant seems to charge whatever they want without explanation, and instead of admitting their mistake, they attempted to justify the exorbitant prices. In my opinion, they should have informed me upfront that the lemonades were $12 each. I usually don't check prices and give the benefit of the doubt, but upon reflection, I realized I was taken advantage of. Proceed with caution if you choose to dine at this establishment.

I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a child and I love Puerto Plata for its delicious seafood.

It was my birthday, and my boyfriend and I were the only two customers at the restaurant. The service was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the drinks were excellent. The ambiance was pleasant and we enjoyed our time there. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

The shrimp in the Camarofongo dish I ordered was extremely salty, the white sauce was very watery, and the red snapper was practically swimming in salt. The pigeon pea rice was very dry, I did not enjoy any of the food I ordered. Money wasted. If this place had better presentation with their drinks and better cocktails, more people would visit. The drinks didn't even make me want to try a piña colada with the ugly glass they served it in. This was also the case with another drink I ordered previously. That's why I am rating it low. The place looks beautiful, many people may not realize how beautiful it is inside. I loved it, the renovation is stunning. Update since last time I went.
