This is a very popular spot. I must say it felt a bit overcrowded but that could be due to my visit being on a late Friday night. Service was decent. The chairs are extremely close to one another and I don't feel like there was enough space in between. The drinks were pretty and tasted decent. I love the candy addition! What Aly P doesn't like about Calabrije's:
When this place opened it was was very good, nice ambience, always people inside and fantastic drinks. One year it got voted best margarita by some publication- after that it went down hill. Last time I was in there on a Friday night no one else was there. I ordered a margarita and could not even drink it- everything totally changed. The margarita had no fresh ingredients (not even lime) and was sickly sweet, garnish... View all feedback.
Everything was really cool about this place, except the bartender, we were excited to have cocktails at this bar but when we ordered one that was too spicy for our liking, and asked if we can have something else, That we really don't like it and only had a sip, we were told no and have to pay for it. I've worked as a bartender myself, and I would never just let someone drink a drink that they didn't like and paid for it. Horrible service, I told myself she probably didn't care about the customers because the gratuity was already placed on your bill, so you can't even give the amount of tip you think she should get for her service. She would have gotten nothing from me if it was up to me.

Last time I was in there on a Friday night no one else was there. I ordered a margarita and could not even drink it- everything totally changed. The margarita had no fresh ingredients (not even lime) and was sickly sweet, garnished with a gummy candy on top. What a shame, they got an awesome write up and felt they could just start to cut corners, stop caring and service garbage.
If you love margaritas, this is the place to go!!! So many options of flavors and they are DELISH! I had the Pink Guava and also the Hibiscus, both were amazing. You can even mix and match!!! Definitely try this spot if you are in the neighborhood.

These are the best chicken tacos in the city; in my mind !!! I'm not one to drink margaritas but, the selection of flavors and candy ornament is on point. I highly recommend this Bushwick eateryFood: 5/5
