I got like four pastries. Two plain croissants and one almond and a fruit scone. The almond was nice and the plain croissants were fluffy, light weight and buttery when reheated. The scone was a bit dry and probably could have done better if reheated. The cafe is in a hustling and bustling side but is quite unassuming but homely. The staff is quite kind and had the order ready for the taking. The bag value/content is something that might be looked into.

You can tell this is a well liked neighborhood establishment ad everyone was very friendly and plenty of small talk. The pastries were exceptional, the capouccino was good but be aware that they do and traditional one and not new school with latte art but the taste was still very good. If i was a local this would definitely feel like home.

They serve traditional diner food, which you really can't go wrong with. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of old-school places like this in Park Slope anymore. The prices are reasonable and the food is always hot and fresh. My only complaint is the limited hours - they close at 4-5 PM every day, including weekends, so you can't go for dinner or late-night food. If they were open later in the evening, I would definitely come back for their Sloppy breakfasts.

We ordered omelettes and they were delicious. I really enjoy this place - it's simple but the food is consistently good, served with warm and friendly service.
