I love this place. it is a cozy and quiet oasis on a giant block of sunset park near the brooklyn army terminals. the chefs prepare all food fresh from scratch... read more I love this place. it is a cozy and quiet oasis on a giant block of sunset park near the brooklyn army terminals. the chefs prepare all food fresh from scratch every day, and the portions are very generous. if they like meat pizza, this is the place! but the best thing about cafe 58 is nod – the hard-working owner of the shop. he's a real shady.

I live in an Italian neighborhood in NYC, I eat a lot of good pizza, and this place stands up. I'm going back here every time I'm at that ferry stop.

The owner personally greets each guest as if they've been friends for years. He is truly a gentleman and a scholar. I'm grateful to have such a fantastic spot near my workplace where I can enjoy a meal.
