Guests rave about the artisanal ciders, particularly the sweet and bubbly house-made rose cider. While many enjoy the striking decor and the charming presence of ginormous cider barrels, experiences with the food and service are mixed. The pre-fixe menu, though tasty, often leaves diners feeling unsatisfied due to small portion sizes amidst high prices. While the ambiance shines, especially for date nights or group outings, inconsistency in service can detract from the overall experience. Still, many leave eager to return, especially for the cider and unique desserts.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant and it was an incredible experience, especially for a date night. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the overall setting for dining. I suggest sitting by the cedar in the back next time, it was a fun touch!
Great evening with friends! Very fun cider catching and the wait staff was very chill and enjoyable to chat with.
I was really looking forward to this dinner. I made a reservation for 5 people at 6:45, but we ended up adding a 6th person last minute. The person I spoke with on the phone asked us to come early to accommodate the extra person, which we did without any issue. Our first course (burata and soup, which arrived cold) was served around 8pm, I believe. We ended up leaving at 9:45 with our desserts packed in a bag because we couldn't stay in the restaurant any longer. The food was good, but since it was a pre-fixe menu, I couldn't understand why it was so delayed. I know it was New Year's Eve, so I understand they were busy, but by the time we left, the staff was already starting to break down the dining room for their own party that night. This was truly one of the most bizarre dining experiences I have ever had.
Amazing great time Catching cider was pretty cool, highly recommend you catch it yourself.
Go for the cider and donuts. Food is okay but is overpriced considering the small portions. Love the venue. You can see the ginormous barrels of cider, which is cool. Love the in-house rose cider(sweet and bubbly) and half-sour cider(not too sweet, tart, refreshing) .
