What Lafayette Leffler likes about Baobab Gouygi Ii:
This Senegalese restaurant serves amazing food, especially their delicious lamb dishes. The staff, particularly the friendly woman at the counter, took great care of us during our meal. The roasted lamb was flavorful and scrumptious, and the rice on the side had the perfect amount of spice. The portion size was so generous that I was able to take home more than half of it and enjoy it over the next few meals. Overall... View all feedback. What Jake Davis doesn't like about Baobab Gouygi Ii:
The food is amazing. What is annoying is that they sometimes do not keep with their own menu that they created for each day. It's starting to get annoying especially me being pregnant and I have my heart set on eating a specific dish. They really need to be consistent and keep with the menu that they created. read moreNestled in Bed-Stuy, this Senegalese restaurant is a culinary treasure that captivates with its flavorful dishes, especially the lamb and guinea fowl. Diners rave about the generous portions and the rich spices that define the cuisine. However, inconsistent adherence to the daily menu and long wait times have sparked frustration among patrons. While the self-service model may lack traditional hospitality, the friendly staff and delightful Baobab drink elevate the experience. Despite some operational hiccups, the overall consensus is that the restaurant’s vibrant flavors make it worth the visit for anyone craving authentic West African fare.
