I hadn't visited since before the pandemic started, and I was impressed to see that they are not allowing customers inside. The donuts I got today were large and fluffy, which was fantastic. I was glad to see that they use wax paper to separate the vegan donuts from the non-vegan ones to prevent cross-contamination. The vegan caramel cappuccino donut I tried (the one in the top left corner) was a little underwhelming compared to how it looked in photos; it mostly just tasted like a regular glazed donut. It was still tasty, but nothing extraordinary.

I often daydream about these donuts and eat them when I am happy or sad. They are a must-have for road trips. The coffee is also excellent and the staff is very friendly. Ordering online through their website is convenient. I recommend ordering early in the morning if you want a large order, as they have many fans eager to try their delicious flavors.

If yo... read more I had only ever been to Union Square Donuts in Somerville until Saturday. This location is just as tasty! Plus, it's probably easier to find parking here. If you want the best selection, go earlier in the day because once something sells out, you can only admire it from afar. But don't worry, all their donuts are delicious! My roommates and I tried the coconut, maple bacon, Boston cream, and a classic honey glaze - all of which were fantastic. As of February 2021, they only accept credit cards and you order at the window, where they bring your donuts to you either at the window or outside the doors.
