Pho Viet's - Brookline

I absolutely adore Pho Viets! It has been a favorite spot for Vietnamese comfort food since my childhood. My family and I have been coming here for years. I have fond memories of visiting the old 88 market with my mom as a little boy, picking up groceries and then stopping by to enjoy their amazing beef noodle bowl and tri color dessert. Even now, at 33 years old, when I come to 88 for my own groceries, I bring my daughter along to enjoy the food. I am thrilled that they now have their own shop not far from the original location. The decor, setup, videos, and merchandise are all fantastic. I am so happy to support this family-owned business. The food is traditional, delicious, and perfect for takeout. They don't worry about fancy plates, which means I can get my food quickly and at a great price. The portions are generous, especially with the noodle bowls that are packed with meat and toppings. To me, food is about bringing people together and creating memories. I am Thai and I believe the best food is found at street markets, where you can find authentic and traditional family recipes. I highly recommend Pho Viets and you may just start a tradition like I have for generations to come. Thank you Pho Viets for the years of amazing food. We love you! I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The bánh mì sandwich was incredible, with delicious bread and flavorful pork, sauce, and veggies. It was reasonably priced at $7.50, and I definitely recommend trying the Bún Chả Giò Thịt Nướng if you're hungry. The lemongrass beef and vermicelli dish was not only tasty but also left me feeling great afterwards. The outdoor seating was a bonus, making it a perfect spot for a meal on a nice day. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant again and again.

Lemongrass Chicken with Vermicelli Noodles. $12.15. The dish was bursting with flavor. Crowded in the restaurant (during weekday lunch rush at 12:30) but service was fast and efficient. Would return.

I recently dined at this incredible restaurant and was blown away by the scallion pancakes, tofu veggie curry, and pork noodle bowl. The food was so delicious that I was almost brought to tears. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Delicious Lemongrass Pork with Vermicelli and mediocre special beef noodle soup. The meat was a bit tough in the pho and I?ve definitely had better. Also the basil and bean sprouts looked a bit dead.
