Unagi, tobiko and Hokkaido uni sushi wer... read more Many many wonderful meals between 2000ish and 2019. Our first meal at FuGaKyu since 2019. Food quality was very uneven. Unagi, tobiko and Hokkaido uni sushi were wonderful. Nigiri strangely very large so a good value. Ikura salmon eggs were cloudy changing the flavor. We eat Japanese a night or two a week rotating amoung 4 restaurants in the Fenway, Back Bay and South End. Hamachi Kama was so so. No match for our other four restaurants. Chicken teriyaki and beef teriyaki think freezer burn. Service was good. Decor ery atmospheric as it has always been
