The space is beautifully designed, with private seating and a calm atmosphere. Prices are on the higher side, and the miso soup looked different from the menu photo. Service is always lovely and prompt. Parking can be busy on beacon st, allow for some time to park or walk a short distance but worth it! We ordered mostly cooked food and they all tasted pretty good. The portions were all quite large, reflected in the higher prices. The pork katsu came with two pork chops. I think the portions were too large. We had quite a bit of leftovers to take home. I do appreciate that the food quality is quite decent. The only thing that was disappointing was the Chirashi. The dish had mostly rice with the typical salmon, tuna, egg, eel, shrimp. The mackerel didn't taste fresh. The other pieces had hardly any flavor at all. I think I'll stick with the cooked food, which they do pretty well. The wait staff was efficient and attentive. Very much appreciated the service. There are more private tables now with sliding doors which is a nice update. Price per person: $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
