The chicken soup I tried had no taste. The chicken was very dry and served cold. I had been looking forward to trying this restaurant for months, but now I am extremely disappointed.
I rarely leave negative reviews unless absolutely necessary, but I have to say I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I was looking forward to trying it out, but the service was poor from the start. The staff seemed uninterested and even walked away from taking our order to work on something else. The buns were okay, but not fresh, and the dumplings we ordered were both underwhelming and raw. When we mentioned this to the staff, they insisted that they were supposed to be that way, but I have experience cooking with meat and eating dumplings, and they were definitely raw. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be giving this place another try. (Response to owner's reply: This happened yesterday around 4:30-5pm, and I don't have an order number.)
This Chinese fast-food restaurant is very average and not very impressive. The bok choy was steamed to the point of being mushy, which was not appetizing. The ground pork in the dan dan dish was not cut into small pieces, which resulted in a different texture. The milk tea was decent, but I believe Xi'an Famous Foods in NYC does a much better job and is tastier. The total cost, including an 18% tip, was $29+.
This place has certainly gone downhill. The dough of the veg steamed dumpling was completely raw and inediblethe recipe seems to be a different one cuz it tastes completely different. The pan seared ones are still alright but the steamed ones had to be tossed out Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
Bbq chicken bun was inedible and had literally no chicken in it. disgusting, wouldn’t feed my dog this food. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $1–10
