The fish and chips were a bit underseasoned. I'm not a fan of Pepsi products, but they might suit your taste. My husband tried the lobster roll and felt the bread was a tad large, overshadowing the lobster. The clam chowder was tasty, and the fish tacos were fantastic, as were the scallops. Visiting the restroom is quite an experience on its own… you'll definitely want to check it out for yourself!

I've heard that the Clam Box is owned by the same folks who run Howard's down the road, but there's really no comparison—this place serves much better food. We would definitely come back!

The fisherman's platter was decent—the whole belly clams were clean, the shrimp was perfectly cooked, but the fish was slightly overcooked, and the scallops and fries were a bit underdone. I wasn't a fan of the coleslaw. The hotdog, on the other hand, was excellent, and the burger was satisfactory. My three items came to around $44. I returned later to get my dog a puppy cup, which he really enjoyed, especially since he can be a bit picky. The staff were friendly and nice, and they brought my food to my seat outside. If you need condiments, you have to go inside to the end of the bar area. There’s also outdoor seating available, along with some yard games like cornhole and giant connect 4, plus a patio. Parking is limited around the building.
