Very good seafood! My. Kids loved their burger and chicken tenders. And their ice cream is the best! Parking: Plenty of places to park. Kid-friendliness: They are very kid friendly! View all feedback.
What Frank Bennett dislikes about Clam Box:
I bought $60 worth of seafood and not even one tarter sauce or cocktail sauce was provided. Ruined my meal. It's simple put the cold stuff in a separate bag. No one likes warm Cole slaw. It's like warm Coca-Cola. I worked in a seafood joint as my first job, get it together. View all feedback.
The fried seafood is of excellent quality and freshness. The service is outstanding. It was a delightful experience!
Charming little spot that left us satisfied! You order and pay at the counter, and they bring your food to your table. The fish and chips were a bit underseasoned. I'm not a fan of Pepsi products, but they might suit your taste. My husband tried the lobster roll and felt the bread was a tad large, overshadowing the lobster. The clam chowder was tasty, and the fish tacos were fantastic, as were the scallops. Visiting the restroom is quite an experience on its own… you'll definitely want to check it out for yourself!
We were pleasantly surprised by our visit. The whole belly clams were outstanding, and we also enjoyed a tasty lobster roll. I've heard that the Clam Box is owned by the same folks who run Howard's down the road, but there's really no comparison—this place serves much better food. We would definitely come back!
