It's a decent tasting Mediterranean restaurant. It's a bit expensive for the experience. I thought their combo with choice of two is the most cost effective entree. We ordered combination of lamb kifta, chicken kabob and beef shawarma. All of them tasted above average. Only lamb and chicken can be found halal here. I read a lot about their basmati rice. But I found it very dry and undercooked. Their lentil soup is ok... View all feedback.
What Sorin Voinea doesn't like about Casablanca Brookfield:
I hired an executor from the restaurant. The food was good. The part I did not like was included a 18% reward on the invoice. I didn't notice it until it was too late. I have no problems typing on a carry-out order, but the restaurant automatically has a 18% reward on a carry-out money is a bit exhausting. What happened to the mandatory gravity reserved for parties by more than 6 people? View all feedback.
My son was turning 21 on October 10 and asked me to find a nice place for a birthday meal, specifically one that served lamb. I thought of Casablanca in Brookfield, as I had been there once before. I made a reservation for a group of 15 and had a difficult time reaching them to confirm and make changes to the reservation. Eventually, I was told that for a group that size, they would be serving family-style dinner, which was not communicated to me when I made the reservation. When we arrived at the restaurant, the service was terrible from the start. The waitress, despite trying her best, was inexperienced and struggled to accommodate our large group. Several orders of lamb were either undercooked or overcooked, and the manager seemed flustered and mentioned that the cook was new and not used to handling such a large party. Overall, it was a disappointing experience for my son's birthday celebration. We spent a significant amount of money that night, and the food quality and service did not meet our expectations. I highly doubt that we will be returning to this location in the future. The photos below show the medium-well lamb dish that was served to us, which was not cooked properly. I did not take photos of the other dishes, but some were also unsatisfactory. The restaurant did provide us with a credit for two of the dishes and offered a dessert for my son, which was appreciated. However, improvements are definitely needed in terms of food quality and service at this location.
I went to this restaurant on a Monday night. The food was good, so I gave it two stars. However, the service was terrible. Initially, the hostess seated us at a large table, despite there being high tables that would have been more suitable for two people. Our server seemed inexperienced or disinterested. They forgot to bring us pita bread for our appetizers and blamed the kitchen. They also forgot our bottle of wine, which took 20 minutes to locate. When they finally brought it, they blamed the bartender for not opening it and did not provide a bottle opener. The bartender had to open it for us. After disappearing for 15-20 minutes, they returned to present the bill. They did not include the 50% discount on the wine that was advertised, so I had to ask them to correct it. Additionally, they added an 18% gratuity for only two people, which I found unacceptable. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, the waiter apologized and mentioned they do not usually work on Mondays, as if that justified the poor service. I wanted to like this place, but I will not be returning.
The food was amazing! The hummus was the best I've ever had and the portions were very generous. Although I can't speak to the service or restaurant experience since we ordered delivery, I give five stars for the delicious food.

My wife and I ate dinner there 2 nights ago. The hostess was very friendly and seated us promptly. Following this the service was absolutely abominable. There was quite a wait before our server came to the table and took our drink and dinner orders. I ordered a glass of zinfandel and was brought the wrong wine. After placing our dinner orders we waited about an hour before we were served our food. I must say the food tasted very good once it finally came. My wife did not eat all of her meal and wanted a to go box. We were never able to get the attention of our server. After about 20 minutes the hostess seated another party at the next booth and I was able to flag her down and requested a to go box and our check which came fairly quickly. My final disappointment was discovering an 18% gratuity had been added to our bill which was quite an insult considering the service was just about the worst I have ever had in any place I have ever eaten. Needless to say we will never eat there again and will advise our friends to avoid the place.
