Pete's Café - BRONX

I had to wait a long time to be seated and even longer just to place my order. They really need to hire more staff to help out. It also took quite a while to settle my bill. I recommend asking for everything in one go: seating, food, and the check.

I usually don’t write negative reviews, but I’m done giving Pete’s any more opportunities. They always manage to get my orders wrong. The food is bland, and the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I went in for brunch and ordered a cup of coffee along with a bagel and a Philly cheesesteak. The place wasn’t busy, yet it took almost 30 minutes for my coffee and another 30 for my food. After finishing my coffee, I asked for a refill, but it never arrived. To make matters worse, the cheesesteak finally arrived...

This restaurant really needs a new chef. I ordered a muffin for breakfast, and it was burnt! They also forgot the sides I requested and didn't even ask if I wanted any spreads for my meal. Additionally, they don't include fresh tomatoes or lettuce on their burgers. Overall, it's not worth spending your hard-earned money here.

I give 2 starts because the chef doesn?t wear gloves. He sometimes help take out food and get drinks from the fridge and goes back and touches the food. No soap, no getting gloves. I watched him take out all potatoes with his hands. The Cook Touches money, packs the food then goes back and proceeds to cook touching sausages, Bacon, and everything u can think of. Unsanitary!!! Disgusting! And I also complained, they don?t care!
