Came in to eat before a performance at Hostos. Enjoyed the food very much. I had cerviche vuelva la vida, my husband had Marcy Tierra and my daughter had a Caesar salad with calamari. I had 2 appletinis that were made well. Loved the music that was playing mostly bachata and merengue. Relaxing atmosphere. No complaints at all and being a waitress that is unusual for me. Wish we lived closer because we would definitel... View all feedback.

Marisco Central has little to no competition in Bronx Terminal Market. That said, it doesn't mean the restaurant rises to the occasion. The menu is too big, the offerings are inconstent in quality, it's a seated restaurant with fast food elements (salad dressing in cafeteria packets, silverwear in plastic bags), and tips are added to the check without the server telling you.Apparently, if you catch this and tell the server you want to provide the gratuity of your own volition, they will adjust the check accordingly. Really. That's a whole lotta work for people who are already pushed hard.If you have not noticed that 15% was added to your check, the slips where you sign your name include a line that says GRATUITY.This is misleading, disingenous, and nervy. The receipts DO inform in Spanish and English that 3.5% is added for all credit and debit charges. The same is not done regarding the 15% added to your check. So, as a public service announcement, and because I am none too please to have gratuitied $28 on a $106 check on 7/21/23, don't eat here. Or, get your food to go.
Cold food, slow service, although it looks like a good place, the service is terrible and I ask for a type of lobster and they bring me a dish that although they digested it was lobster, it was sardine. I do not recommend it, it fell terribly on our stomachs.Food: 1/5
We came for a friend of friend birthday dinner. The restaurant is located in the Bronx terminal market so it's on the first floor. We enjoyed the drinks and those came quickly. This is a seafood restaurant so some of the party had dishes that they liked while others didn't really care for it. I had the shrimp Cesar salad and it came with nice big grilled shrimp which was good. I didn't care for the pumpernickel crotons though. Despite the negative reviews I saw prior to coming here it wasn't bad. The service was quick and the food was okay. It all depends on what you like.
So I ordered food for delivery. I realized it was over an hour and my food still wasn’t delivered. Also there was no way to track my order. So I placed a call to get an update. The First Lady I spoke to couldn’t find my order so we were placed on hold. She gets back on just to say it will be another 30-35 minutes before we receive the food. So I asked to speak to the manger he explains the system was down. I stated what can be done about the inconvenience due to the fact that if I didn’t call I wouldn’t have none anything. He stated the 10% that was on the order already for ordering on their website was all he could do or a soda. We had a 2liter in our order already. Long story short I cancelled the order due to being frustrated with the Customer service as well as spending $60 and being pregnant. I will never order again!
First time visiting... Our waitress Carolina was amazing the food so delicious... highly recommend
