Chef Waz even prepared our dessert right at the table. They offer gluten-free options and accommodate many other dietary needs. I will definitely be returning! The flavors expl... read more There’s no doubt that the food at Waz’s Bistrôt is exceptional. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared, expertly cooked, and beautifully presented. The flavors explode on the palate—my rare steak was cooked perfectly and accompanied by some of the best chips I’ve ever tasted. The atmosphere is lively and enjoyable. At times, the music felt a bit loud, but when it switched to accordion and cool jazz, it became much more fitting. I also love the bar along the far wall; it’s a striking feature and really adds character to the space. Waz himself makes a point of visiting guests after the kitchen closes, sharing his passion for food, which truly enhances the experience. Since this is still early days in the new location, the only downside was the front-of-house staff. They are young and somewhat inexperienced, lacking basic training, and the service was disappointing. Once the team is better trained, knowledgeable, and as enthusiastic about the food as Waz, this place will be tough to beat for miles around. Did the poor service put us off? It gave us pause, but the outstanding quality of the food means we’re definitely returning for our birthdays in about six weeks. Waz and his cuisine truly won us over.
