The beer is kept well at this pub but the few meals I've had a few meals here and they were all ok for pub meals but the portions were small. Service was friendly. Atmosphere was ok but the decor needs attention. View all feedback.
Absolutely fabulous food at very cheap prices. Proper homemade food, including homemade chips! Eaten here a couple of times and both times have been amazing
Great little pub full of charm, ale was on point would definitely return and try the food as this was a quick post work drink stop
Dropped by to celebrate my retirement and was not disappointed. Very simple, but this is what a good old English pub should be like. Not pretentious, but welcoming with good food and beer.
I am trying to say don't go as it is far too popular and we can't get in now so please don't go and leave room for us. But all that would be very unfair
Friends who regularly visit this pub took us for lunch there today. Very popular old pub, every table was taken, we havd reserved which is advised. Good local ales, food was a limited menu but home cooked and freshly cooked to order, portions not large but most of the customers were retirement age and probably have smaller appetites, would go again.
