Always been expensive but worth it for the quality and service...until today...a takeaway egg mayo sandwich...£4.75! Two slices of bread and an egg. £4.75!! I feel violated. Four pounds and seventy five pence.

This place was recommended by a few of our friends and we were not disappointed. The place has a nice cozy and relaxing vibe. The prices are fairly reasonable and there are many offers available ie steak for £15 on Wednesdays and Saturdays, 2 for1 cocktails on Friday etc. We had the banners board consisting of a selection of their starters, 10 Oz Ribeye steak and cookie dough and a small cheesecake and a coffee. The steak was excellent and our favourite bits from the starter selection were the burnt port belly, Chinese chicken, and the wings. The cheesecake was made in house. Service was great too. We made a reservation for 16 people to celebrate my grandmother's 91st birthday. The restaurant requested that we pre-order our meals the day before, which turned out to be very convenient. The food was fantastic, the service was top-notch, and all 16 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Our dishes were served together and were all piping hot, with the steaks cooked perfectly to our preferences. We plan on returning soon and highly recommend Banners for a delicious meal. The value for money was exceptional, especially with the steak offer that was available.
Had a great time. A good restaurant has small menu cooked well, and this is why Banners works. A few dishes, all cooked to perfection. Great service, friendly without been overwhelming.
