Van Houtte - Bromont

Delicious food that reminds me of Cosi in the United States. The soup is fresh and the coffee is very good.

A coffee shop is a coffee shop, but I really like this place, and have been coming here with my daughter for over 8 years now. It is small, but it has a nice little fireplace, wifi so you can work (or whatever), and they've got a nice selection of coffees, some tea, hot chocolate... all that stuff. One nice point I appreciate: you can bring your own cup for coffee, either for takeout or to stay, it doesn't matter. You get 15 cents off your order and you reduce coffee cup waste. I got a really cute mug with a lid for Christmas, so I'm pleased as punch when my daughter and I stop by for coffee (she has a Kate Spade mug, of course...)The little shop is part of a gas station, is right on the boulevard, about one minute from autoroute 10, and about ten minutes from the ski mountain. Oh, and they have small lunch dishes like little salads, two or three soups, sandwiches, things like that. I don't eat here so I can't comment on the food. My daughter likes it - she often does her Cegep homework here.

It is always pleasant to enjoy a cool beverage on a hot day. The restaurant's decor is pleasant, with a small terrace where you can enjoy a drink outdoors.

Les cafés Van Houtte se ressemblent mais sont aussi différents. Celui de Bromont est peut-être plus sympathiques que beaucoup d'autres. On aime bien s'y arrêter de temps en temps: les serveuses sont toujours sympathiques!
