The mushroom rice was with peas , not one solitary pea was seen but lots of egg not advertised which I'm allergic to. Restaurant rudely suggested the egg was shown in the non existent picture! Every other rice dish has the allergens listed why not the rice. Food delivered over half hour late so chicken was cold. First time ordering from here and it will be my last. Wouldn't give it to my dog!!

Delivery time was 7:10-730 food arrived around 8:30I called the restaurant three times and I was assured my food was on its way the first time , second time I w... read more Delivery time was 7:10-730 food arrived around 8:30I called the restaurant three times and I was assured my food was on its way the first time , second time I was told they had to get an emergency driver as one had gone home but my food was on its way ,on the third time of phoning I was told the food was on its way that the driver had left five minutes ago so I had to question the first two times of being told the food was on its way. I would rather be told the truth the first time and I would have collected it myself as I’m only 6-7 minutes away. POOR SERVICE.

Ordered this evening for home delivery. 1 hour delivery time which was fine. Time got pushed back despite a text saying the order had been dispatched. Tried calling the restaurant. Constantly engaged. Between my partner and I we made over 50 calls to the restaurant constantly engaged. Phone off the hook by any chance? Anyway Over 2 hours after ordering and an hour after saying it was being delivered, it turned up. Sent it away. Didn't want it. Delivery guy said he only picked it up 10 minutes ago. Restaurant lied. Atrocious customer service.

It also d... read more Attention Vegetarians: Do not eat at this restaurant! I ordered braised beancurd, which is not labeled as vegetarian. In fact, nothing on the menu is. It also does not have any allergy symbols for fish, crustaceans, or molluscs. However, it tasted fishy to me so I called to inquire. The lady I spoke with argued that it is made with fish sauce but assured me it is still vegetarian because the sauce is the only non-vegetarian component. She insisted that this is how all take-away restaurants operate. I tried to explain that she was mistaken but she refused to accept my point of view. She also refused to refund me, offering instead a credit for my next order. It is clear that I will not be ordering from this establishment again.

For the last few years I’... read more I ordered a takeaway on Sunday night (tonight) and just had to write a review about how great the food is, I am eating it as we speak! For the last few years I’ve been constantly disappointed by Chinese restaurants and have felt as though they’ve been a waste of money and poor quality. Not Money Tree! This is definitely my new go-to Chinese take-away in the Beckenham area. I was greeted at my door by a lovely smiling lady and the food reminded me of the kind of Chinese food I’d had years ago, i.e. actually good! You can tell they are focussed on the quality, presentation and flavours in the meal. It tasted fresh and the sauce for each dish was a delightful consistency. I will definitely be ordering again, absolutely satisfied and would definitely recommend. Thank you Money Tree!
