What Anonym dislikes about The Maxwell:
An okay pub. Obviously popular with local blokes. Beer was good quality. Sky Sports. I hadn't read the reviews before we went in but can't say we experienced any problems. Service was okay, beer okay, cleanliness okay etc View all feedback.

Stopped for a few drinks after work and received a warm welcome from the bar staff. Classy atmosphere with jukebox and sports games on the TVs, lively customers. The pub was clean and service was quick and efficient, would recommend for friends...More

The cheese and tomato roll was very delicious. The staff was friendly. However, the giant ashtrays on the outside tables were off-putting. Overall, it's a good pub, not too fancy.
