We wanted to have oysters, and we got it at this place. When we came we decided to order different things. There were many different seafood. It was all very tasty. We would like to say special thanks for waitress Sergùl. She was a very helpful and very nice person. Recommended that place. I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and had high expectations, but I was a bit disappointed with how my visit turned out. We had to wait for our pre-booked table to be ready, and when we were seated, we were disappointed to see that the table was only decorated with a sad, wilted white rose which we asked to be removed. The walls were dusty, and the only bread option was a single slice of plain white French bread. The starters were small, with the dressed crab having more brown meat than white and no brown bread to accompany it, despite the high price of nearly £12. The mains, a skate wing and Lobster Thermidor, were okay but the portion of the latter was small for its £38 cost. The vegetables were bland and undercooked, making it difficult to eat them with the provided fish knife. After finishing our mains, we were still hungry and ordered the Apple Strudel for dessert, which was decent. The staff were friendly but seemed overwhelmed throughout the night. Overall, for a bill of £150, I expected a much better dining experience.
First visit last night and certainly won’t be our last. Great selection on menu, well served and very friendly staff
First visit to restaurant and had high expectations after favourable recommendations from friends. The restaurant was very unique and had a great ambiance and the staff really friendly However the food I our view was at best very ordinary. We had starters and mains My starter was seafood Pancake with creamy cheese sauce which in presentation and taste was at best a supermarket ready meal. and possibly was) It did not have a pancake but in my view was a ready meal scraped out from the original Packaging and blasted in a microwave as it was lava hot had very little fish content and the cheese sauce overpowered any fish. For mains I had a fish risotto which again appeared to be a boil in the bag Tomato risotto with a prawn and some mussels added on top again arrived lava hot from microwave my partner had the seafood paella again in our view another pocketed boil in the bag taste and presentation with a splattering of a few prawns and mussels thrown on top. Really disappointed and certainly did not meet expectations far better local restaurants offering better quality and taste at better prices so Will be a while before we consider returning in a hurry
