Excellent food, even for delivery. Usually quality isn't as good but this was brilliant. Every dish was lovely. Generous portion sizes. Food had good consistency where as other Indian takeaways come quite runny. Overal was really good and will definitely order from here again. View all feedback.
What James wilson doesn't like about Darjeeling:
Missing items as well as arriving ridiculously late. When we called to ask if they could come back and drop off the missing items as it’s a 2 minute drive down the road they rudely refused whilst offering up no apology then hung up. Yeh was gobsmacked by the behaviour and what is essential theft of my money. Nothing short of a full refund would be appropriate. View all feedback.
Ordered take that arrived super fast. I had the grain with garlic naan and it was really delicious! the corma was beautiful and creamy and the naan was warm and soft. would recommend! updated by previous review on 2021-12-14
Order was wrong. Missing mango chutney and nanns were wrong flavour. I always order from Darjeeling but this time they dropped the ball completely
Excellent service. Excellent food. We are regulars have never had a problem. Highly recommend.
The food that was ordered was damaged and it has water in the food and less salad. I'm not happy
Decided to give Darjeeling a go and ordered 6 mains (2 lamb and 4 chicken). Now I am not one for reviews let alone bad ones, but food was awful and all ended in the bin. All had the taste of undercooked generic sauce so made no difference if you were trying the curry/dupiaza/madras/bhuna/vegitable curry. All was very oily and lacked spices that make recognisable Indian curries a British favorite. All dishes looked the same unappetising mess with an overwhelming onion taste. After having spent nearly £43 on dinner, ended up having cheese and bread and that was 100 times better. This was an experience I will not be repeating.
