I went to this Fish Chip shop on the strong recommendation of a new neighbour, and all that he said if the shop was absolutely correct! I ordered two Cod Chips and it was excellent, and not expensive in my view. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the pla e was immaculately clean. I will certainly be returning. We have been loyal customers of Bridges fish and chip shop for a long time. While we understand that prices have increased, we are willing to pay for quality. However, our experience today with the large haddock and chips was disappointing. The fish alone cost £8.80, but it was smaller than expected and had an excessive amount of batter. Really great takeaway, my family loved it. Great quality batter, the large chips were easily enough for 2-3 people and, as we booked in advance, we were able to park outside and pick it up quickly. Highly recommend, we will come here again!
Everything is cooked fresh to order, there chicken burgers are top notch, you can see it’s everybody’s favourite as it’s always very busy packed
